I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business è il progetto parallelo di Arthur "Ace" Enders, cantante e chitarrista principale della band The Early November. Sebbene l'album omonimo fosse originariamente l'unica uscita ufficiale prevista sotto questo nome, il tempo ha dimostrato il contrario. Il progetto nacque dalla volontà di Enders di creare musica diversa da quella dei The Early November. Rumori di sottofondo, come la televisione accesa, sono presenti in tutto l'album fino al undicesimo brano, "End of Background Noise", per simboleggiare i rumori di sottofondo della vita quotidiana. L'immagine principale dell'artwork è un rastrello da giardino, che simbolicamente contrasta il foglio d'acero associato ai The Early November. L'ultimo brano, "Salvy", prende il nome dal nonno di Enders. La canzone "The Best Happiness Money Can Buy" è stata inclusa nel trailer del film Must Love Dogs.
