Severed Heads è un gruppo musicale australiano di musica elettronica formatosi a Sydney nel 1979 sotto il nome di Mr. and Mrs. No Smoking Sign. I membri fondatori erano Richard Fielding e Andrew Wright, che furono presto raggiunti da Tom Ellard. Fielding e Wright lasciarono il gruppo, lasciando Ellard come unico membro continuativo. Nel corso degli anni, diversi musicisti hanno collaborato con Severed Heads, tra cui Garry Bradbury, Paul Deering e Stephen Jones, ma la formazione si è progressivamente ridotta a Tom Ellard in qualità di unico artista.
