The Charlie Daniels Band where a southern rock/country band, led by fiddle player Charlie Daniels. Their primary commercial success came in the late 70s and early 80s. Charlie Daniels played as a session musician in the 60s and 70s working with such artists as Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.
