Lee Edward Evans (1947-2023) è stato un velocista statunitense specializzato nei 400 metri piani. Nato a Los Angeles, California, Evans ha rappresentato gli Stati Uniti alle Olimpiadi estive del 1968 a Città del Messico, dove ha vinto la medaglia d'oro nella staffetta 4x400 metri insieme a Ron Freeman, Larry James e John Smith. Ha stabilito un nuovo record mondiale nei 400 metri piani nel 1968 con un tempo di 43,8 secondi. Evans è stato anche campione nazionale statunitense nei 400 metri piani nel 1967 e nel 1968.
