The Magic Numbers sono un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Londra nel 2004. Il nucleo originario è costituito dai fratelli Romeo e Michele Stodart, rispettivamente cantante e multistrumentista e bassista, insieme ai fratelli Sean e Angela Gannon, batterista e tastierista/percussionista. Romeo, nato a Trinidad e cresciuto tra New York e Londra, ha incontrato Sean durante la sua permanenza nella capitale inglese. Insieme hanno iniziato a comporre le basi del gruppo, che poi si è completato con l'ingresso delle sorelle Michele e Angela. Il loro debutto discografico, omonimo "The Magic Numbers", risale all'agosto 2005 ed ha riscosso un buon successo di critica. Nel 2006 hanno pubblicato il secondo album, "Those the Brokes", consolidando la loro presenza nel panorama musicale indie britannico. La band è nota per le melodie orecchiabili, l'armonia vocale e l'atmosfera folk-pop che caratterizza i loro brani.
