Kay Hanley ist eine amerikanische Sängerin und Songwriterin, geboren 1968. Bekannt wurde sie als Lead-Sängerin der Alternative-Rock-Band Letters to Cleo, die von 1989 bis 2000 aktiv war. Mit ihnen veröffentlichte sie erfolgreiche Alben wie „The Freebird“ (1991) und „Aurora“ (1994), die durch ihren energiegeladenen und melodischen Pop-Rock-Sound gekennzeichnet waren.
