Ganggajang ist eine australische Rockband, die 1984 gegründet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung umfasste Mark "Cal" Callaghan, den ehemaligen Frontmann der Riptides, sowie zwei ehemalige Mitglieder der populären australischen Hard-Rock-Band The Angels: den Bassisten Chris Bailey und den Schlagzeuger Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup. Die Band erreichte in den 1980er Jahren mit Songs wie "Sounds of Then (This is Australia)" und "Pretty Girls" großen Erfolg, die durch melodische Sounds und psychedelische Einflüsse geprägt waren. Ganggajang war eine der wichtigsten Bands der australischen Rockbewegung der 1980er Jahre und trug dazu bei, den zeitgenössischen Musiksound Australiens zu definieren.
