Robert Cray è un chitarrista e cantante statunitense nato a Columbus, Georgia, nel 1953. Considerato uno dei più grandi interpreti del blues moderno, Cray ha raggiunto fama internazionale negli anni '80 con il suo stile vocale potente e la sua tecnica chitarristica raffinata. La sua musica fonde elementi di blues classico, soul e rock, creando un sound originale e coinvolgente. Tra i suoi album più importanti figurano "Strong Persuader" (1986), vincitore di un Grammy Award, e "Midnight Stroll" (1990).
