Mekong Delta è un gruppo musicale tedesco di genere progressive thrash metal, attivo dal 1985. Considerati uno dei pionieri del thrash metal progressivo in Germania, hanno influenzato numerose band successive con la loro musica complessa e sperimentale. Il sound Mekong Delta si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di riff veloci e aggressivi tipici del thrash metal, combinati a strutture musicali complesse e melodie progressive.
