Dirty Pretty Things sono stati un gruppo musicale inglese capitanati da Carl Barât, ex membro dei The Libertines. La formazione del gruppo è stata annunciata a settembre 2005, dopo una disputa tra Barât e Pete Doherty che portò allo scioglimento dei The Libertines nel 2004. Barât aveva lavorato con Vertigo Records e aveva precedentemente rivelato che il suo nuovo progetto era con l'etichetta.
