Sparta è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi ad El Paso, in Texas, nel 2001. I membri fondatori sono Jim Ward (cantante e chitarrista) e Tony Hajjar (batterista), entrambi ex componenti del gruppo post-hardcore At the Drive-In. Keeley Davis (chitarrista) è stato il frontman di Engine Down. Lo stile musicale di Sparta si colloca nell'ambito dell'alternative rock, con influenze dal post-hardcore e dal progressive rock. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff chitarristici potenti, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi come la solitudine, l'alienazione e la ricerca di identità.
