16Volt è un gruppo musicale industrial rock statunitense formatosi nel 1988 a San Francisco, California, dal visionario musicista e produttore Eric Powell. Il progetto ha visto l'evoluzione di diversi stili musicali, passando dall'industrial rock aggressivo delle prime opere ad una sonorità più elettronica e sperimentale negli anni successivi. La musica di 16Volt è caratterizzata da un sound distorto, ritmi martellanti e testi spesso introspettivi che esplorano temi come la tecnologia, la società moderna e l'alienazione.
