Moev è un gruppo musicale elettronico canadese formatosi a Vancouver nel 1981 da Tom Ferris e Cal Stephenson. Attivi fino agli anni '90, hanno pubblicato album su etichette come Atlantic Records, Nettwerk Records, Go! Records e Cop International. Il loro album di maggior successo, *Yeah Whatever*, uscito nel 1989, ha combinato testi oscuri, solenni ed anthemici con ritmi disconnessi, elettronica fluttuante e occasionalmente campionamenti di spoken-word. Tra i singoli estratti dall'album figurano "Yeah Whatever", "Wanting" e "Crucify Me", quest'ultimo caratterizzato dalla frase ripetuta "Why would you / Crucify me?" (Oltre a questi campionamenti, l'album include anche frasi tratte dal film *THX 1138* di George Lucas del 1971).
