Jarboe è una cantautrice e musicista statunitense, nota per il suo lavoro con la band noise rock Swans negli anni '80 e '90. Nata in Pennsylvania, Jarboe ha iniziato a collaborare con i Swans nel 1983, contribuendo alla loro evoluzione sonora verso un sound più sperimentale e atmosferico. La sua voce potente e drammatica, spesso accompagnata da tastiere e campionamenti, è diventata una caratteristica distintiva del gruppo.
