Dennis Carl Wilson (Los Angeles, 4 dicembre 1944 – Los Angeles, 28 dicembre 1983) è stato un musicista e cantante statunitense, noto soprattutto come batterista e membro fondatore della band rock The Beach Boys. Wilson era il fratello minore di Brian Wilson, compositore e leader del gruppo. Dennis contribuì alla musica dei Beach Boys con la sua voce roca e le sue performance energiche, spesso in contrasto con lo stile più melodico e orchestrale di suo fratello. Oltre a battere, Dennis suonava anche chitarra e tastiera. Fu un membro attivo della band fino alla fine degli anni '70, partecipando a molti dei loro album più famosi, tra cui "Pet Sounds", "Surf's Up" e "Holland". Dopo la sua uscita dai Beach Boys, Wilson intraprese una carriera solista con scarso successo commerciale. La sua vita fu segnata da problemi personali e dipendenze. Morì all'età di 39 anni a causa di un incidente in cui fu coinvolto mentre era ubriaco.
