One Minute Silence ist eine britische Alternative-Metal-Band, die 1995 in London gegründet wurde. Die Band debütierte Ende der 90er Jahre mit Rap-Metal-Sounds, stark beeinflusst von Grunge und Nu Metal, die ihre frühen Alben wie „The One Minute Silence“ (1998) und „A Moment of Clarity“ (2000) prägten. Im Laufe ihrer Karriere haben One Minute Silence einen reiferen und experimentellen Sound erforscht, der Elemente des Post-Rock und des Progressive Metals integriert.
