Temple Of The Dog è stato un gruppo rock americano formatosi a Seattle, Washington nel 1990. Il progetto nacque dall'idea del cantante di Soundgarden Chris Cornell come tributo al suo amico Andrew Wood, frontman dei Malfunkshun e Mother Love Bone, scomparso prematuramente. La formazione vedeva Stone Gossard alla chitarra ritmica, Jeff Ament al basso (entrambi ex-membri di Mother Love Bone), Mike McCready alla chitarra solista, Matt Cameron alla batteria ed Eddie Vedder ai cori e voce principale. L'album omonimo del 1991 divenne un successo immediato, con brani come "Hunger Strike" (in cui Cornell e Vedder cantano insieme) che raggiunsero la fama internazionale.
