Living Colour è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere alternative metal, formatosi a New York nel 1984. Considerati tra i maggiori esponenti del funk metal, hanno influenzato molti gruppi nu metal successivi come Sevendust, P.O.D. e Limp Bizkit. Il loro sound si caratterizza per l'uso di riff funky, groove serrati e testi spesso politici e sociali. La formazione originale comprendeva Vernon Reid (chitarra), Corey Glover (voce), Doug Wimbish (basso) e Mujahid Abdul-Rahman (batteria). Il loro album di debutto, *Living Colour*, uscito nel 1987, ottenne un grande successo di critica e pubblico.
