Marc Almond (geboren als Peter Mark Sinclair Almond am 9. Juli 1957) ist ein britischer Sänger-Songwriter und Schauspieler, der vor allem als Frontmann des Synth-Pop-Duos Soft Cell in den 1980er Jahren bekannt wurde. Almond hat eine unverwechselbare und melodische Stimme, die ihn zu einem der bekanntesten Gesichter der britischen Popmusik machte. Nach der Auflösung von Soft Cell im Jahr 1982 begann Almond eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere und arbeitete mit Künstlern wie Gene Pitney und The Divine Comedy zusammen. Er ist bekannt für seine musikalische Vielseitigkeit, die vom Synth-Pop über Rock bis hin zur Elektronik und Klassik reicht.
