Sun Kil Moon ist ein amerikanisches Musikprojekt, das 2002 von Mark Kozelek gegründet wurde, der zuvor bereits mit den Red House Painters bekannt war. Der Name der Gruppe ist eine Hommage an den südkoreanischen Boxer Moon Sung-Kil, eine große Leidenschaft von Kozelek, die mehrere Songs inspiriert hat.
