Kim Carnes è una cantautrice e musicista statunitense nata a Phoenix, Arizona, nel 1941. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '60 come sessionista per diversi artisti, collaborando con nomi importanti come The Beach Boys e Elvis Presley. Nel 1975 pubblicò il suo primo album in studio, "Movin' On", che segnò l'inizio della sua ascesa nel mondo musicale.
