Shihad ist eine neuseeländische Rockband, die 1988 in Melbourne, Australien, gegründet wurde. Die Band, bestehend aus Jon Toogood (Gesang), Phil Knight (Gitarre), Karl Kippenberger (Bass) und Tom Larkin (Schlagzeug), erlangte in Neuseeland große Popularität mit einem Sound, der von Grunge- und Alternative Rock-Einflüssen geprägt ist.
