Pentangle è un gruppo musicale britannico attivo dal 1967 al 1973, considerato uno dei pilastri del folk rock inglese. Il nome, che significa "stella a cinque punte", si riferisce ai cinque membri della formazione originale: Bert Jansch (chitarra e voce), Danny Thompson (contrabbasso), Jacqui McShee (voce), John Renbourn (chitarra) e Terry Cox (batteria). La musica dei Pentangle fonde elementi di folk tradizionale, jazz e blues, creando un sound ricco e complesso.
