The Get Up Kids sono una band emo americana proveniente da Kansas City, Missouri. Formatisi nel 1995, hanno avuto un ruolo fondamentale nella scena emo degli anni '90, conosciuta come la "seconda ondata" di musica emo. Mentre aumentavano in popolarità, iniziarono a fare tour con band come Green Day e Weezer prima di diventare loro stessi headliner, intraprendendo infine tour internazionali in Giappone ed Europa.
