Apocalyptica ist eine finnische Cello-Metal-Band, die 1993 in Helsinki gegründet wurde. Sie gelten als Pioniere des Genres und verbinden klassische Fähigkeiten auf dem Violoncello mit Heavy-Metal-Sounds.
