Richard Hell and The Voidoids sono stati una band rock americana appartenente alla prima ondata del punk rock. Il gruppo era guidato da Richard Hell, ex membro di Neon Boys, Television e Heartbreakers. Formazione a New York City, la band ha visto nel corso degli anni l'ingresso di musicisti influenti come il chitarrista Robert Quine, Ivan Julian, Naux Maciel, Jody Harris (ex Contortions e Raybeats), Anton Fier (leader dei Golden Palominos) e Marc Bell (futuro Ramone).
