Roger Taylor è un batterista britannico, noto soprattutto per essere il componente storico della band new wave Duran Duran. Nato a Birmingham nel 1950, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70 con diverse formazioni locali prima di unirsi ai Duran Duran nel 1980. Con la band, Taylor ha contribuito a definire il sound synth-pop degli anni '80, partecipando all'enorme successo internazionale di album come *Rio* (1982) e *Seven and the Ragged Tiger* (1983). Oltre alla sua attività con i Duran Duran, Taylor ha collaborato con altri artisti e ha anche intrapreso una carriera solista.
