The Kooks sono un gruppo musicale indie rock britannico formatosi nel 2004 a Brighton, nell'East Sussex. Il nome del gruppo è ispirato alla canzone "Kooks" del cantante David Bowie contenuta nell'album Hunky Dory. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi, ha conquistato rapidamente un vasto pubblico internazionale.
