I Groovie Ghoulies sono stati una band pop punk americana formatasi a Sacramento, in California. La loro musica ha attirato ispirazione da film horror. Il nome della band è stato preso dalla serie televisiva animata degli anni '70 Groovie Goolies, un spin-off di Sabrina, la strega adolescente (a sua volta un spin-off di The Archie Show).
