Les Brown (1914-2001) è stato un celebre direttore d'orchestra e compositore statunitense di musica jazz e swing. Nato a Los Angeles, California, Brown ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale suonando il clarinetto in orchestre locali. Nel 1938 ha formato la propria orchestra, che divenne rapidamente una delle più popolari negli Stati Uniti durante gli anni '40 e '50.
