John Winston Lennon (Liverpool, 9 ottobre 1940 – New York, 8 dicembre 1980) è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e attivista politico inglese. Noto soprattutto come membro dei Beatles dal 1962 al 1970, Lennon ha formato una delle partnership musicali più influenti della storia insieme a Paul McCartney, scrivendo alcune delle canzoni più famose del rock and roll.
