Wings è stato un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi nel 1971 da Paul McCartney dopo la dissoluzione dei Beatles. Il nome del gruppo deriva dal soprannome dato a McCartney dai suoi fan durante il periodo beatlesiano. Il sound di Wings era una miscela di rock, pop e country, influenzato anche dalla musica folk americana. Tra i membri più noti oltre a McCartney ci furono Linda Eastman (moglie di Paul), Denny Laine e Jimmy McCulloch. 1973 vide l'uscita dell'album "Band on the Run", considerato uno dei loro lavori più importanti, con brani come "Jet" e "Helen Wheels".
