Louis Jordan (1908-1975) è stato un musicista jazz statunitense di grande influenza, noto per aver introdotto elementi di rhythm and blues nel genere swing. Nato Louis Thomas Jordan a Brinkley, Arkansas, iniziò la sua carriera musicale suonando il sassofono e cantando in band locali.
