Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. (Chicago, 27 settembre 1935 – Chicago, 12 settembre 2022) è stato un compositore e pianista jazz statunitense. Considerato uno dei più influenti musicisti del suo tempo, Lewis ha contribuito a definire il sound del jazz fusion negli anni '60 e '70. Iniziò la sua carriera suonando in locali di Chicago, prima di formare il Ramsey Lewis Trio nel 1956. Il gruppo ottenne un successo internazionale con l'album "The In Crowd" (1965), che includeva una versione jazz del brano pop omonimo. Lewis ha vinto tre Grammy Awards per i suoi album e ha pubblicato oltre 80 dischi durante la sua carriera.
