Ray Thomas (1943-2018) è stato un musicista britannico, noto soprattutto come flautista e cantante del gruppo progressive rock The Moody Blues. Nato a Manchester, Thomas ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 con diverse band locali prima di unirsi ai Moody Blues nel 1964. Con il suo stile distintivo di flauto e le sue melodie orecchiabili, Thomas è diventato un elemento fondamentale del sound della band, contribuendo a definire l'atmosfera sognante e malinconica che caratterizza molti dei loro successi.
