Single Gun Theory è un gruppo musicale australiano formato da Jacqui Hunt (voce), Pete Rivett-Carnac e Kath Power (sampler/tastiere). Attivi dal 1987, il loro sound combina elementi di musica elettronica downtempo con ritmi programmati e sintetizzatori, a cui si aggiungono le voci introspettive ed eteree di Hunt e campionamenti di dialoghi. Il gruppo ha pubblicato tre album in studio di successo internazionale, oltre alla colonna sonora del film controverso *The Monkey's Mask* (2000) di Samantha Lang.
