I New Trolls sono un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi a Milano nel 1967. Considerati pionieri del progressive rock italiano, hanno attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, dal pop-rock psichedelico degli esordi al prog più complesso e sperimentale degli anni Settanta. Tra i membri fondatori figuravano Vincenzo Incenzo (voce), Gianni Belleno (chitarra), Riccardo Fogli (tastiere) e il batterista Maurizio Solieri. Nel corso della loro carriera hanno pubblicato numerosi album di successo, tra cui "Quella strana sensazione" (1970), "Concerto per un'orchestra rock" (1972) e "Il libro dei sogni" (1973). I New Trolls sono noti per le loro performance dal vivo energiche e innovative, caratterizzate da arrangiamenti complessi e una forte componente teatrale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "T'amo", "La mia banda suona il rock", "Il libro dei sogni" e "Quella strana sensazione". Dopo un periodo di pausa negli anni Ottanta, il gruppo ha ripreso l'attività musicale nel decennio successivo con una formazione rinnovata. I New Trolls hanno lasciato un segno importante nella storia della musica italiana, influenzando generazioni di musicisti e contribuendo a diffondere la cultura progressive rock in Italia.
