D-A-D è un gruppo rock danese formatosi negli anni '80. Originariamente chiamato "Disneyland After Dark", il nome fu cambiato per evitare azioni legali da parte della Walt Disney Company. Il loro stile musicale è spesso definito melodic heavy metal, con influenze hard rock e glam metal. Nel corso degli anni hanno utilizzato anche le denominazioni D.A.D., D•A•D e D:A:D, ognuna di queste rappresentando un periodo specifico della loro storia. Tra i brani più noti figurano "Sleeping My Day Away", "Mad Hatter" e "The Last Man Standing". L'album "No Blood No Tears" (1989) è considerato uno dei loro lavori più importanti.
