The Traveling Wilburys furono un supergruppo musicale formatosi alla fine degli anni '80, riunendo alcuni dei nomi più importanti del panorama rock mondiale. Il gruppo era composto da Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne e Roy Orbison. L'idea di formare un progetto insieme nacque durante le sessioni di registrazione dell'album solista di George Harrison, "Cloud Nine". La formazione si rivelò subito un successo, con l'uscita del loro album omonimo nel 1988, che raggiunse la vetta delle classifiche musicali in diversi paesi. Il secondo album, "Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3", uscì nel 1990, ma fu segnato dalla scomparsa di Roy Orbison pochi mesi prima della sua uscita. La band si sciolse dopo questo album, lasciando un'eredità musicale di grande impatto e una collezione di brani indimenticabili come "Handle With Care", "End of the Line" e "She's My Baby".
