Grobschnitt è stata una band rock tedesca attiva dal 1970 al 1989. Lo stile della band ha subito diverse evoluzioni nel corso degli anni, iniziando con il rock psichedelico negli anni '70 per poi passare al progressive rock sinfonico, all'NDW (Neue Deutsche Welle) e infine al pop rock a metà degli anni '80. A differenza di molti altri gruppi, Grobschnitt ha introdotto l'umorismo nella propria musica attraverso suoni inaspettati, testi divertenti e concetti stravaganti.
