Hole war eine amerikanische Rockband, die 1989 in Los Angeles von Courtney Love und Eric Erlandson gegründet wurde. Das Duo bildete den festen Kern der Gruppe, die für ihren Grunge-Rock-Sound bekannt war, der sich durch eingängige Melodien und oft provokante Texte auszeichnete.
