Timo Tapio Tolkki (nato il 19 luglio 1965) è un musicista finlandese noto soprattutto per essere stato il fondatore, chitarrista principale e compositore di Stratovarius. Tolkki ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con diverse band locali prima di formare Stratovarius nel 1984. Sotto la sua guida, Stratovarius è diventato uno dei gruppi power metal più influenti al mondo, pubblicando album di successo come *Fourth Dimension* (1995), *Visions* (1997) e *Destiny* (2000).
