16 Horsepower è stato un gruppo musicale statunitense attivo dal 1993 al 2005. Il sound del gruppo, caratterizzato da una strumentazione tradizionale folk americana (banjo, chitarra acustica, mandolino) e influenze post-punk e gothic, ha ridefinito il country e il folk con un'atmosfera cupa e introspettiva.
