The Commitments sono un gruppo musicale irlandese formatosi nel 1991 a Dublino. Il loro sound è una fusione di soul, rhythm and blues e funk degli anni '60, con influenze del rock'n'roll. Il gruppo è diventato famoso grazie al film omonimo del 1991, diretto da Alan Parker, che ha raccontato la storia di un gruppo di giovani irlandesi appassionati di musica soul che decidono di formare una band.
