Edoardo De Crescenzo è un cantautore e musicista italiano nato a Napoli nel 1957. Figlio di un noto compositore, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di 16 anni suonando il pianoforte in locali notturni. Nel corso degli anni '80 ha collaborato con artisti come Lucio Dalla e Mina, ottenendo un grande successo con il brano "La mia casa" nel 1985. De Crescenzo è noto per la sua musica che fonde elementi di pop, rock e jazz, spesso arricchita da testi poetici e riflessivi. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "Il mio nome è Edoardo" (1986) e "La mia casa" (1985). Alcuni dei suoi brani più rappresentativi sono: "La mia casa", "Un'altra vita", "L'amore non ha età".
