Poco ist eine amerikanische Folk-Rock-Band, die Ende der 1960er Jahre von Richie Furay, Jim Messina und Rusty Young gegründet wurde, ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Buffalo Springfield. Ihr Sound, geprägt von Country- und Bluegrass-Einflüssen, hat in den Vereinigten Staaten eine treue Fangemeinde gewonnen. Obwohl der kommerzielle Erfolg nicht konstant war, erreichte Poco mehrere Top-20-Platzierungen. Nach einer ersten Trennung 1984 sich die Band mehrmals wiedervereinigte und spielt bis heute. Ihr Debütalbum *Pickin' Up the Pieces* (1969) und das gleichnamige Album von 1970 konnten den erhofften Erfolg nicht erzielen. Mit dem 1973er-Album *Crazy Eyes*, das Platz 38 erreichte, erreichte Poco seinen kommerziellen Höhepunkt. Nachdem die Band zwei Alben später ihr Plattenlabel verlassen hatte, setzte sie ihre Arbeit mit einer treuen Fangemeinde fort.
