Andy Summers (nato Andrew James Summers il 3 dicembre 1947) è un chitarrista e compositore britannico, noto soprattutto per essere stato membro fondatore e chitarrista principale della band The Police negli anni '70 e '80. Summers ha contribuito a definire l'identità sonora del gruppo con le sue linee di chitarra innovative e sperimentali, mescolando influenze reggae, punk e new wave. 1978 ha visto la pubblicazione dell'album d'esordio dei Police, seguito da successi come "Outlandos d'Amour" (1978) e "Reggatta de Blanc" (1979).
