You were always too much in my face
I was always on your mind
We're clearly undefined we're undefined
Who will dare to put us in our place
Divide the human race
Into a lot of empty nets below the sea
We belong to no one that I know
We cannot fit inside a broken melody
And so we go to find a soothing lullaby
Where heavy burdens fly and float away
You cannot be fair you're not a child
There is no fairness in your eyes
And if I thought you'd give me half a chance
I'd be the last to let you go into that pitiful disguise
To see me in the day is such a lie
I can never be without you on my side
And then you'll tell me that there are no sides
That's just for barricaded minds
I will find this out when I die
You cannot be fair you're not a child
There is no fairness in your eyes
And if I thought you'd give me half a chance
I'd be the last to let you go into that pitiful disguise
You were always too much in my face
I was always on your mind
We're clearly undefined we're undefined
You can labour on the ground
Where nothing will survive
Until your greatness blows your mind
You cannot be fair you're not a child
There is no fairness in your eyes
And if I thought you'd give me half a chance
I'd be the last to let you go into that pitiful disguise
