Raining Pleasure è una band indie/rock originaria di Patrasso, Grecia, spesso accreditata come pioniera del nuovo movimento musicale greco in lingua inglese. La band si è formata a settembre 1990 con il nome "Rest in Peace". Un anno dopo la formazione, hanno iniziato a esibirsi dal vivo a livello locale. Nel 1992 hanno cambiato nome in Raining Pleasure e hanno iniziato a fare tour in Grecia. Nel 1994, la band ha autoregistrato e pubblicato un demo del proprio lavoro (limitato a 160 copie); da allora, la maggior parte delle sue canzoni è stata riregistrata e inclusa nei loro album in studio. Per altri due anni, la band ha continuato a fare tour in Grecia e nel 1996 tre delle loro canzoni sono state pubblicate attraverso la compilation del magazine Pop and Rock Dytiki Akti '96.
