The Big Wu ist eine Rock-Jam-Band aus Minnesota, bestehend aus Al Oikari, Andy Miller, Chris Castino und Terry VanDeWalker. Aktiv von Ende der 1990er bis Anfang der 2000er Jahre erlangten sie Bekanntheit für ihre eingängigen Songs und als eine der ersten Jam-Bands aus dem Mittleren Westen, die nationalen Erfolg erreichten. Ihre unermüdlichen Tourneen in den späten 1990er und frühen 2000er Jahren bauten eine treue Fangemeinde auf, die sich selbst „family“ nennt, viele von ihnen treffen sich für das wiederkehrende Musikfestival der Band, das Big Wu Family Reunion. Von 1998 bis 2006 veranstaltete die Band jährlich das Family Reunion am Memorial Day-Wochenende und hält oft ein Wu Years Eve-Event am 31. Dezember ab. Seit Ende 2006 touren The Big Wu nicht mehr, sondern spielen nur gelegentliche Auftritte in ihrem Heimatstaat Minnesota. Das Big Wu Family Reunion X findet vom 10. bis 12. Juli im Harmony Park im Süden von Minnesota am Lake Geneva statt.
